Zumba Program Description

Perfect For Everybody and Every Body!
Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on.

How It Works
We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check.

A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class.

  • What are the best shoes to wear in a Zumba® class?

Zumba Fitness recommends that you wear cross training or aerobic style shoes. They provide the cushion and medial lateral support needed for side-to-side movements. They also have low traction rubber for easy sliding and turning. Please be careful with running shoes since they use a heavy tread on the bottom and are designed for forward movement. • How many calories can I burn during a Zumba® class?

The number of calories each person burns per class varies. Depending on your body parameters (type, composition, intensity, range of motion), you can burn hundreds of calories per class.
  • Do I need a dance background?

NO!! Zumba classes are designed for ALL levels whether you are a beginner or advanced.
  • What should I bring to class?

Bring water and a towel- you will sweat!!
